Peter Hollingshead, Principal
Mr. Hollingshead formed Pacific Capital Investments in 1988 for the purpose of representing clients in the purchase and sale of investment properties. Pacific Capital Investments was expanded in 1990 with the addition of an associate and in 1991 formed Pacific Capital Management, a Property Management firm and Pacific Capital Investments, a Real Estate Investment firm.
Prior to the formation of Pacific Capital Investments, Mr. Hollingshead began his commercial brokerage career in 1982 as an acquisition agent for a northern California syndication company. He obtained his Brokers license in 1984 and by 1987, he was Director of the brokerage division and responsible for all acquisitions and sales for the syndication company with a portfolio valued in excess of $300,000,000. Pacific Capital has grown to a portfolio of $750,000,000 in value and employs 200 team members.
Mr. Hollingshead holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of California at Berkeley. Mr. Hollingshead is a member of the Placer Board of Realtors, the International Council on Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is an instrument rated private pilot and an Angel flight volunteer.
Thomas A. Cologna, Principal
Mr. Cologna joined Pacific Capital in 1990 as a partner in the firm to assist in the acquisition of properties and the formation of partnerships. In 1991 he and Mr. Hollingshead formed Pacific Capital Management to manage the investment properties they had acquired and as a service for their clients.
Prior to Mr. Cologna's affiliation with Pacific Capital Investments, Mr. Cologna was affiliated with Independent Planning Realty Corporation, a northern California investment company. He began working with Independent Planning Realty Corporation in 1985, and was responsible for all acquisitions and sales for the company. As the Director of Property Acquisitions and Sales, Mr. Cologna was responsible for transacting over $120,000,000 of partnership assets.
Mr. Cologna graduated with honors from Menlo College with a degree in Business Administration. He is a member of the Placer County Board of Realtors and is active in community and educational organizations.
